NATURAL PRODUCTS FOR ACNE CURE
As far as treatment of acne is concerned, my personal opinion would be to look out for natural products to help treat acne. You can start with some very basic things available in the kitchen or rather may I say at your home. But the problem with these is that not everyone has the time and patience to try these. But you can still try and spare some time for yourself…its worth.
Things you can try
• Ice pack – Ice pack helps in reducing the swelling and pain due to acne and pimples. It also helps to reduce the size of the pimple making your face look a bit clearer. This is an excellent method you can try when you have to go out and find a nasty bump on your face in the morning.
Washing your face with lots of cold water also works.
• Honey- it is an excellent moisturizer for dry skin. Avoid if your face is oily. Also it is very useful in treating acne as it contains enzymes that can help slow or even stop the growth of bacteria on your face. It is rich in antioxidants, which can help remove free radicals. These antioxidants can boost tissue growth, and at the same time, help in scar-healing. It is definitely better to go for a honey facial mask or facial wash.
• Camphor + tomato juice + honey – To half a teaspoon of camphor lotion add 10-20 drops tomato juice and pure honey (1 spoon). Mix properly to get a thick lotion. You can apply this to the affected area. All these ingredients work against bacterial infection and act as natural cleansing agents to help clear acne. Keep for atleast half an hour for good result.
• Increase your intake of fresh fruits and vegetables – Sometimes acne occurs due to the lack of vitamin B5 in your body. In such a case you can get rid of acne by eating green vegetables, fruits, sprouted moong dal, whole grain cereals, cheese, dried beans, chicken etc. Avoid junk and extra oily food.
Together with these see that you keep yourself well hydrated by drinking lots of fluids.
